Van Kappel International Inc (VKI) is a Canadian Incorporated Company based in Redcliff, Alberta, Canada which has provided highly technical engineering solutions and OEM quality remanufacturing services to the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) for over 9 years.

VKI is the Van Kappel "Flag Ship" for the provision of engineering-based solutions to the Ministry of Defence. Our proven ability to provide quality solutions for engineering problems faced by customers ensures timely solutions and improved equipment availability and logistical readiness.

Our Expertise

VKI’s trade skills base is predominantly centered around retired senior ex-British military qualified engineers who have extensive knowledge of British military equipment processes and procedures. Supported by a good mix of Canadian Heavy Duty and Automotive Journeymen, VKI offers a range of unique skills that are difficult to duplicate in a commercial environment.

VKI remains the only Canadian agency capable of repairing and remanufacturing many components presently fitted to military vehicles at BATUS.
