About Van Kappel BV
Van Kappel BV based in Venlo Netherlands, is the HQ of the VK Group. Its core activity was the provision of bespoke engineering support solutions and repairs to the British MOD equipment based in Germany. With the drawdown of the British MOD in Germany, VK BV has developed commensurate with the drawdown by moving into the wider arena of fleet upgrade/modification programme management, specifically at the British MOD equipment storage facility in Monchengladbach.
Utilising its base of core engineers and technicians, VK BV has developed its equipment support capability portfolio to ensure upgrade/modifications programmes can be delivered ‘on site’ in Venlo or remotely at Customer locations. Recent examples of this include: REMUS (the upgrade of circa 460 Land Rovers delivered on site), and the Inspection/Repair modification of (circa 400 Trailers delivered off site).
VK BV is continuing with its diversification programme and is now working closely with other international companies on the delivery of various upgrade programmes for other European military fleets.
